Eight Students of class (IX & X) of Blossoms Sr. Sec School participated in Essay Writing & Art Competition in ‘Khushwant Singh Literary Fest’ held at Kasauli. Many prominent authors were the guests on that occasion.

Simran bagged first cash prize of rupees 4000/- and  Sanjan won Consolation Cash prize of 500/- in Art Competition .Jaideep Mehrotra, Bikram Grewal,Seema Anand prominent authors gave away the prizes to the students. The students showed great enthusiasm and zeal in that fest. It was a fruitful experience for students.

The Seventh Khushwant Singh Literary Festival (KSLF) was hosted in Kasauli. The three-day fest commenced at Kasauli Club on Friday, October 12. The festival portrayed the passions, concerns and humour of late writer Khushwant Singh, who did much of his writing in Kasauli.

Khushwant Singh (born Khushal Singh, 15 August 1915 – 20 March 2014) was an Indian author, lawyer, diplomat, journalist and politician. His experience in the 1947 Partition of India inspired him to write Train to Pakistan in 1956 (made into film in 1998), which became his most well-known novel
