Overcharging by shopkeepers, DC Patiala issues order

Deputy commissioner Patiala Sakshi Swahney has instructed the food and civil supplies department, excise and taxation department, mandi board officials, chief agriculture officer, MARKFED officers to raid and check the shopkeepers, overcharging for the materials, goods, services from the residents of the flood affected areas.
As per the available news, many shopkeepers, mechanics are overcharging for their services, vegetable vendors has also increased the prices of the vegetable, fruits.
