Program on Gender Sensitization held at Govt Bikram College of Commerce

One day workshop on Gender Sensitization was organized in Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala on July 25,2023. The program was held under the guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr) Kusum Lata according to the directions issued by Secretary, Higher Education, Punjab.
Dr. Paramjit Kaur (Dept of English) gave valuable information to the students about various Gender Sensitization Acts and to respect the opposite sex in order to change the attitude and mind sets of the individual. The program was organized with the commitment for promoting the cause of Gender Equality in General and inculcate in youth the preventive and protective mechanism on gender based violence and issues and challenges regarding the safety of women and girls in the digital era. About 280 students were present on this occasion. The others present were Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Dr. Amrinder Kaur, Gazal Aggarwal and Nancy Sharma.
