Police DAV Public School celebrated Children’s Day

Children’s Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm today in Police DAV Public School, Patiala.
Jashanpreet Kaur of class V delivered a speech on the life history of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. The children were dressed in colourful dresses and presented various performances that included rhymes and dance numbers of 1st and IInd class.
On this Occasion, a dance competition was also organised by the students of class III to V . The participants showed their outstanding performances in the competition an made everyone speechless. 14th of November is also celebrated as World Diabetes Day. Bahvika of class VII- A shared her views and made the students aware about diabetes.
School Principal, Meena Thapar appreciated the efforts of students and guided the students to avoid junk food and eat healthy food.
