The Institutional Innovative Council of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organized a dynamic Intra-Institutional Idea Generation Competition, focusing on the theme of “Business Ideas” under the guidance of college Principal Prof (Dr) Kusum Lata according to the instructions issued by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Punjab. The event, held on January 29, 2024 served as a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial prowess and creative thinking.
The central theme of the competition revolved around generating innovative business ideas. The purpose was to encourage students to think critically, explore entrepreneurial opportunities, and foster a spirit of innovation.
The Resource Person Radhika, a seasoned Career Counsellor, enriched the event. Her expertise provided valuable insights into the practical aspects of turning ideas into successful ventures, enhancing the participants’ understanding of the business
Students exhibited remarkable enthusiasm and creativity, presenting a diverse range of business ideas.
The competition concluded with the announcement of winners who demonstrated outstanding innovation and strategic business ideas. Dr .Jyoti Tirthani, Dr Rekha Rani, Dr Reetu Kapoor all coordinated well to make the event a success. About 110 students participated in the event and about 20 among them enthusiastically came up with new innovative ideas.
The event successfully highlighted the innovative spirit of our students.
