Daring step: illegal banner hides’ chief minister’s hoarding in Patiala

Rampant violations, defacement in the Royal city by the ruling party leaders, workers are not a new thing. This time a new chapter of breaching added in the history of Patiala.
This time the violators have not even spared the Punjab CMs hoarding highlighting the state government achievements.
State government has placed a big hoarding of CM Mann’s achievement at Sheranwala gate crossing in Patiala. The violators placed the banner on CM Mann’s hoarding, hiding the achievements of CM Mann led Punjab government.
“This is a classic case of its own. This might be the first case in India and a daring act of a party MLA which has placed an illegal banner, advertisement on party’s chief minister hoarding, hiding state government achievements. On the other hand the officials seems to be scared of MLA’s wrath that they don’t even removed it even after the event is over” said Sumit a local resident.
The Royal city has been converted into a defaced city by the custodians of the city. Local politicians, leaders’, residents’ have made this beautiful city into a dirty city. Everyone can see the illegal hoardings, posters on roads, walls everywhere. The city has been defaced with illegal religious, political hoardings.
When contacted the officials of Municipal Corporation, Patiala officials, they said “this is not our site. This site might belong to horticulture department as it is at the corner of Baradari Gardens.
When contacted the Patiala urban MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli under whose name the said banner hides the chief minister’s hoarding feigned ignorance and said “this is very wrong. I have not placed any advertisement. Who so ever has done this act and has hidden the chief minister’s hoarding has done a blunder. Please tell me the location where it is, I’ll ask the commissioner municipal corporation Patiala to immediately remove the same.”
