On first day of 2024-25 fiscal year court open Kejriwal’s jail account; Kejriwal demanded three books in jail

On All Fools’ Day, the Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court has sent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on 15 days judicial custody to Tihar Jail.
He will spend the next two weeks in jail after his Enforcement Directorate custody ends today. The Enforcement Directorate produced the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo before special CBI judge Kaveri Baweja. During today’s hearing, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, appearing for the ED, said that the agency is not asking for further remand in light of the Supreme Court’s recent judgment in Senthil Balaji’s case. After this the court sent him to jail till April 15 after the central agency sought judicial custody of the chief minister.
As per reports, the chief minister has requested the court to provide him How Prime Minister Decides, Ramayana and Mahabharat .
As per available information, the Tihar jail has sanitise barrack number 5 for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as he is going to remain in that barrack.
