Free Endocrinology and Cardiology Camp at World University to Raise Awareness on Health and Lifestyle-VC

The Department of Physiotherapy at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, in collaboration with Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, is organizing a Free Endocrinology and Cardiology Camp on April 8, 2024 (Monday). This event coincides with World Health Day, a global initiative to promote health and well-being.
Vice Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) Prit Pal Singh informed that renowned endocrinologist Dr. Saurabh Arora and cardiologist Dr. Manav Wadhera will deliver expert talks, shedding light on the latest advancements in managing hormonal disorders, diabetes, thyroid conditions, metabolic health, and the detrimental effects of smoking, alcohol consumption, and sedentary lifestyles on health. Dr. SS Billing Dean Academic Affairs, told that attendees can avail free health check-ups, including blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks, and electrocardiograms (ECGs). Additionally, free consultation will be provided by the experts.
Dr. Pankajpreet Singh Head of the Physiotherapy department, urged to all in general to get their checkup done by the experts and also to bring their previous health reports and medicine (if any) with them while coming for the consultation.
