Bhavna, a class 10 student of Government Senior Secondary Smart School (girls), Old Police Lines, Patiala has secured 18th rank in the state by securing 628 marks (96.62 percent) out of 650 marks.

Principal of the school Mandeep Kaur Antal, class teacher Mohindervir Kaur and the entire staff honored Bhavna and its parents in the school today.

On this occasion, Principal Antal said that the school’s class teacher Mohindervir Kaur and the entire staff are very hardworking who are providing higher education to all the students.

According to Antal, this is the girl’s own hard work and two years ago, she was only 2 marks behind in the merit of eighth class.

Mohindervir Kaur, in-charge of the class and science teacher, said that today he is happy that his own child has come in the merit.

Bhavna wants to become an engineer and thanks the teachers of the school, saying that it is only because of their hard work and her own hard work that she has achieved it.

On this occasion, the principal of the school, Mandeep Kaur Antal, gave Rs 5100 from the school and Rs 2100 from science teacher Mohindervir Kaur personally.

Besides others, Science Mistress and Class Incharge Mohinder Vir Kaur, Math teacher  Sarabjit Singh, Rajni Bala Punjabi, Neetu Shorey Hindi, Parvinder Boparai English, Harjinder Kaur Social Science etc were present.

Here it is worth mentioning that the result of this school is 100 percent and 8 children scored more than 90 percent Avneet Kaur 94,  Aehsas 96.6 , Kajal 92.6 , Manjot Kaur 92.4 , Prachi 92.7,Ritika 92.1, Simran 90.4 and Taranpreet 90.3 percent.
