CEO expresses Gratitude to the Voters of Punjab for the Peaceful Conduct of the Voting Process

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Punjab , Sibin C, expressed his sincere gratitude to the voters for their active participation in exercising their democratic rights. He stated that despite the intense heat, the enthusiasm demonstrated by the voters was commendable. By turning out in such significant numbers, the voters have risen to the trust reposed in them by the founders of the Indian Constitution.
The CEO also extended his appreciation to the political parties and candidates of Punjab for their cooperation and adherence to the guidelines, which significantly contributed to the peaceful, orderly, and fair completion of the voting process. Moreover, he acknowledged the efforts of the District Election Officers-cum-Deputy Commissioners, who meticulously organized and supervised the electoral activities. The CEO thanked the Commissioners of Police, Senior Superitendents of Police and all other personnel of Punjab Police, and the CAPF for ensuring a safe and secure environment at the polling stations, which was crucial in maintaining public order throughout the voting day and the entire period since the announcement of elections.
He further recognized the dedication of the entire election staff, including the polling officers, volunteers, and all individuals involved in the electoral process, for their hard work and commitment. Their collective efforts in facilitating and securing the voting process were instrumental in the successful conduct of this significant democratic exercise, which he referred to as the biggest festival of democracy.
