Former President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar Pritpal Singh congratulated Prof. Prit Pal Singh for his appointment as the regular Vice Chancellor of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Fatehgarh Sahib. Prof. Badungar said that Prof. Prit Pal Singh has been rendering his services at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University for a long time as a skilled administrator with vast experience in the field of education. He said that he proved his efficient management by running the University well even during the financial crisis. He said that it is only because of Prof.Prit Pal’s hard work and dedication to the University that an enthusiasm for admission to the University has been seen among the students.
Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing thanked Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami President, Shiromani Committee and Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ajaib Singh Brar, Pro-Chancellor of the University and Trust Secretary Harpal Singh Bhatia for their visionary approach to the University. He said that the regular appointment of Prof. Prit Pal Singh as the Vice-Chancellor proves that hard work, dedication and determination are given due acknowledgment in Shiromani Committee’s educational institutions. He congratulated Prof. Prit Pal Singh and assured that all the staff members of the University will work with him as a team with more determination for the progress of the University.

While talking to the media, the Public Relations Officer of the University and the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell Dr. Ankdeep Kaur Attwal shared that Prof. Prit Pal Singh started his services as Registrar at the University in 2011. Due to his hard work, determination and dedication, he was officially appointed as Vice Chancellor in 2019. She said that under the leadership of Prof. Prit Pal Singh, the University began recovering from the financial crisis within a year. She added that owing to his foresight, the educational and administrative work of the University continued to run smoothly even in the tumultuous time of Pandemic in 2020; due to which the University succeeded in instilling confidence among students and parents. Resultantly the student enrollment is continuously increasing from 2021 onwards. She said that the increased admissions are credited to Prof. Prit Pal Singh’s commitment to the placement of students. Since 2019, the Placement cell of the University has been conducting continuous placement drives and fairs and, more and more companies are hiring the University students. She expressed that the University under the leadership of Prof. Prit Pal Singh will continue to progress by leaps and bounds. On this occasion, Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Sikandar Singh, and Dr. Pankajpreet Singh, Head Physiotherapy Department were also present.
