Punjab cadre PCS officer goes on deputation to Chandigarh; get posting order

Adviser to the Administrator, UT,Chandigarh Rajeev Verma IAS has assigned the charge of various departments of Chandigarh administration to Punjab cadre PCS officer Rubinderjit Singh Brar, after he joins UT administration on deputation.
Brar’s name was approved by Punjab Governor and Union Territory Administrator Banwarilal Purohit for his Chandigarh deputation.
Brar, a 2011 batch officer, served in the Chandigarh administration on deputation in August 2015, and held the portfolio of director, School Education. In 2021, he was relieved from the post and was given the charge of chief general manager, Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation Limited (CITCO).
In March 2022, Brar and three other officers — KPS Mahi, Navjot Kaur and Jagjit Singh were relieved by the Chandigarh administration and called back by Punjab government.
