Diarrhea outbreak in Patiala: health department conducted survey

Health Dept Patiala conducted a survey after a report of diarrhea outbreak in Village Jhill and adjoining areas of Aman Bagh, Baba Deep Singh Nagar and Rattan Nagar.
Water samples were collected, and ORS and Zinc tablets were distributed door-to-door.
On instructions of Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical Officer Patiala, Dr Sanjay Goyal, under supervision of Dr. Sumeet Singh Distt Epidemiologist Patiala and Dr. Divjot Singh Incharge IDSP Patiala, survey and sampling activities were conducted.
Area Medical Officer Dr. Gurchandan Deep Singh was also present along with his staff, meeting patients and promptly referring them to higher centers for further care after medical examination.
