PSPCL director’s term extended by Punjab Government

Punjab Government has extended the term of appointment of Surinder Kumar Beri as Director/Finance, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) for one year or till successor is appointed, whichever is earlier.
An order to this effect has been passed on Friday by Rahul Tewari, Secretary to Government of Punjab Department of Power.
The extension has been given on a directive by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, in view of excellent, sincere and honest services rendered by Surinder Kumar Beri as Director/Finance, PSPCL during his previous tenure.
Meanwhile, S K Beri has thanked both Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO for extending his tenure. He said this development indicates that both have their full faith in his services, adding that he will make all out efforts for giving more results in the extended tenure and fulfilling their all aspirations.
