Punjab cadre senior IAS officer goes on central deputation; another IAS on central deputation gets new posting

Ajoy Sharma, lAS (PB:1999), has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by downgrading a post of Additional Secretary.
Presently Ajoy Sharma , IAS is Financial Commissioner, Forests & Wild Life Preservation and in addition Principal Secretary, Governance Reforms with Punjab Government.
Rajat Agarwal, lAS (PB:2003), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 13.02.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, against a vacant post of Joint Secretary.
Aggarwal is already on central deputation since January 2023.
