Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Amritsar, North has raised question on the raid, arrest of Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia.
In a post on his social media account, Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh said “When Majithia ji was in jail; the government of Mann Sahib did not interrogate and got him bail. The dignity of the family is shared by all; be it leader or actor, rich or poor; friend or foe.”
He added “it is against the policy to raid someone’s house early in the morning; almost every incoming government has misused and misused the police and vigilance for their own benefit but the conclusion is not clear.”

“I may disagree politically with someone, ideological difference may happen; but when it comes to policy, religion and charity, it becomes compulsory to discuss. When Majithia sahab was in jail in the case registered during Congress govt, Mann sahab government took no remand and no interrogation was done; later on Mann sahab’s govt system was granted bail.Hon’ble High Court granted bail on the ground that if police are not required for interrogations it is against the law to keep them in custody” added Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Amritsar.
I say when he was in custody the government got him bail and now they are issuing notices and questioning and today home is being raided and the dignity of sisters-daughters being violated.
In the end he added “it is mentioned here that I have and will remain ideological differences with Majithia Sahib; it is about policy and generosity.”
AAP MLA raises question on Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia’s arrest. Tanuj Khanna, a follower of Kunwar Vijay Partap singh social media account responded on his post “You have taken a very righteous stand in this matter. Dignity of family and women are supreme, no matter what.”
