Adesh Uni Director Dr. Gurpreet elected PMC Member

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Gill Director, Adesh University, Bathinda and Vice President, Adesh Medical College and Hospital Shabad, Haryana, received a warm welcome from the Principal, Medical Superintendent, Faculty and Staff of Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR) after registering a landslide victory in the Punjab Medical Council Election 2018; the results of which were declared recently. It is pertinent to mention that in the elections held recently, 23 doctors of the state of Punjab filed their nomination papers for ten posts of the members of Punjab Medical Council. Dr. Gurpreet Singh Gill bagged First Position by polling 5672 votes.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh Gill is a compassionate, experienced, hard working leader and dynamic & versatile medical teacher and surgeon. His vision of ensuring wholesale reforms in medical education and clinical practice in Punjab has been accepted by the electorate and they have reinforced his vision by ensuring his landslide victory.
While welcoming him in the campus of Adesh University Dr. G.L Sharma Principal (AIMSR), Dr. A.S Bansal (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Rakendra Singh, Dr. Rajiv Mahajan,Dr. Saurabh Gupta, Kulwant Singh, Ashutosh Nagpal, Gurjant Singh and Col. Wishva Mitter were in attendance.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Gurpreet Singh Gill thanked all the voters for casting their votes in his favor. He promised to revamp the Medical Education System in Punjab.
