Advisor to CM Bharat Inder Singh Chahal donates month’s salary for covid relief fund

Responding to the appeal of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for all out efforts to mitigate sufferings of needy, Advisor to CM Bharat Inder Singh Chahal has donated his one month salary to the Chief Minister Covid Relief Fund.
The funds collected through this state-level initiative would further strengthen Punjab’s response in this unprecedented battle against the deadly virus, said Bharat Inder Singh Chahal urging his colleagues to also come forward and assist the state in this hour of distress.
It may be recalled that Captain Amarinder Singh had last month set-up the Covid-19 Relief Fund and appealed to one and all to donate generously.
Saluting the front line heroes for putting their own lives at risk in line of duty, Bharat Inder Singh Chahal said all the doctors & health-care givers, police personnel, media fraternity and the complete administration engaged in ensuring relief to people deserve our fulsome praise and gratitude.
It is the duty of each one of us today to complement state efforts in saving lives of our people, Chahal further added.
