After Adviser to Chief Secretary row, GoI releases updated list of Chief Secretaries

Today, the ministry of personnel has released an updated list of chief secretaries of all Indian states and union territories.
The Government of India has now changed the name, post of advisers to Lt Governors of Union Territories to Chief Secretaries.
The Adviser to the Administrator is an officer belonging to the Indian Administrative Services of AGMUT Cadre and is appointed by Ministry of Home Affairs. He advises the Administrator on policy matters and oversees the day-to-day administration of the Union Territory. All financial powers of the Administrator stand delegated to him.
Now onwards the function, duties will remain the same with change of name of the post.
