After unblemished service Dr Manjit Singh appointed as director PHSC by Punjab govt

Punjab government has appointed Dr Manjit Sngh as Director, Punjab Health system Corporation (PHSC).

Dr Manjit Singh, who last month retired as Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare, today assumed the charge of Director, Punjab Health Systems Corporation (PHSC). On this occasion the entire staff gave him a warm welcome.

The Punjab Government in view of his unparalleled services during the Corona Virus Epidemic has awarded him by appointing him as the Director of PHSC, just after ten days of his retirement.

After unblemished service Dr Manjit Singh appointed as director PHSC by Punjab govt. After assuming office in the Phase VIII, Mohali, Dr. Manjeet Singh said that “improving the functioning of this institution, to further improve the quality of services being provided to the people of the state, is one of his top priorities.”After unblemished service Dr Manjit Singh appointed as director PHSC by Punjab govt

It may be recalled that the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh in his state level Independence Day function at Mohali on August 15 last year lauded Dr Manjit Singh for his unparalleled and dedicated service in the war against covid-19.

The Chief Minister had said that despite suffering from the disease, he was playing a leading and second role in the ongoing ‘Mission Fateh’ against this epidemic which was a source of inspiration for others as well. As a civil surgeon in Mohali, he led his team on the field in the fight against the corona virus epidemic, while he himself visited patients’ homes. Dr. Manjit Singh has rendered unblemished, honest and dedicated services in the health department for 36 years.
