AIIMS Bathinda gets shot in the arm; gets BLS Ambulance under MPLAD fund

A new ambulance was donated to AIIMS Bathinda under the Member Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) fund by Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Member Parliament (M.P.) Rajya Sabha- Mansa Constituency on 08th July 2021 in the presence of Executive Director AIIMS Bathinda, Prof. (Dr) D.K. Singh in the administration block.
While inaugurating the Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance, Bhunder stressed the need for upgradation of medical facilities in the areas surrounding Bathinda. He applauded the role played by AIIMS in fighting Covid 19 pandemic by utilizing the minimum possible OPD facilities for Level 2 and Level 3 management as well as Mucor mycosis (Black fungus) surgeries. He promised all kind of support in future to AIIMS.
Prof (Dr) D.K. Singh, while thanking Bhunder for the ambulance, stressed for the need of trauma center facility in AIIMS Bathinda due to the higher risk of accidents on the highways surrounding Bathinda as a result of better road network.
