AIIMS Bathinda is ready to handle Covid 19 fresh cases; mock drill conducted-Director

“As the 4th wave of COVID-19 new variant has been found and after striking developed other countries, where it gripped a large number of COVID-19-positive patients. Even our Country has not been spared from this wave’ said AIIMS Bathinda spokesperson.

The cases of COVID-19-positive patient are on an increase and the number of which is increasing daily at a large scale.

On the same lines of the 03 waves of COVID-19, where no one was denied of any sort of help or admission The treatment provided was free of cost.

When the doors of all the Hospitals got shut, including Private. It was AIIMS, whose doors were always opened at all times irrespective of the timing, may not it be midnight, to take on any emergency of any seriousness or help the suspected or COVID-19-positive patient, especially the poor ones.

The AIIMS, Bathinda is known for this to take care of patients with the motto of ‘Duty before Self’.

This is to inform you that a mock drill was conducted at AIIMS Bathinda on 27.12.2022, under the leadership of Director Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh and the Committee managing the COVID-19 Crisis consisting of their Nodal Officer, to gear up with all the necessary arrangements for COVID-19 patients coming to AIIMS Bathinda.

 

The details of the Nodal Officer and Helpline are given in the for the needy patients to know all the details and the help required in relation to COVID-19.0

A COVID Helpdesk has been earmarked at the IPD Entrance gate no. 1 which will cater for the consultation of symptomatic COVID-19 cases.

All cases with a history of travel/fever/other symptoms of COVID will be subjected to RTPCR/RAT.

Moreover it is for the information of all the patients that COVID-19 RTPCR/RAT tests are being performed in our Hospital Lab, so no delay in getting the Result of the test. A designated area on the 6th floor of IPD block which consists of 50 beds has been made functional to admit COVID-19 positive patients.

It is assure you that AIIMS, Bhatinda is all prepared rather in a better position to care of the Patients after experiencing and facing the Previous three Waves of COVID-19
