AIIMS Bathinda organized CME on recent trends in body preservation for Medical Education

The Department of Anatomy, All India Institute of Medical sciences, Bathinda organized its First virtual CME on 27.04.2021 on the “Recent Trends in Body Preservation Including Covid 19 Suspected Deaths.” More than 750 delegates registered globally for the CME.

Patron Prof (Dr) Dinesh Kumar Singh, Executive Director and CEO, AIIMS, Bathinda delivered inaugural speech. Prof (Dr) Satish K Gupta, Dean (Academics) and Dr Lajjya Devi Goyal, Prof & Head, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, graced the occasion.

Renowned National and International speakers delivered their talk and enlighten the audience by sharing their precious knowledge on different facets of human body preservation. The scientific session was followed by panel discussion on the topic “Hands on experience on body preservation.”

On this occasion, Dr Priti Chaudhary, the Organizing Chairperson of the CME, delivered an elucidation on the importance and exigency of organizing such CME on body preservation. Dr Navita Aggarwal Organizing Secretary, Dr Apurba Patra & Dr Anjali Singal, the Joint Organizing Secretary and Dr Harsimranjit Singh conducted the event with outmost zeal and perseverance.
