Ajayvir Singh Lalpura takes up flyover adjoining Gurudwara issue with Nitin Gadkari

BJP Rupnagar District President Ajayvir Singh Lalpura called on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on a very serious issue related to Rupnagar city. He was accompanied by a delegation of locals on the occasion.
Ajayvir Singh Lalpura apprised Nitin Gadkari that a flyover has been proposed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) from Power Colony to Nangal Chowk on NH No. 205 passing adjoining Gurdwara Sri Bhatta Sahib .He said that as per the present layout, the construction of this flyover is likely to cause a lot of inconvenience to the nearby residents, while at the same time the appearance of Gurdwara Sri Bhatha Sahib will also be affected which will hurt the sentiments of Sikh community.
The delegation demanded that this flyover should be built on pillars as it will neither affect their work nor will there be any affect the appearance of Gurdwara Sahib.
He said that such a flyover had been constructed near Nangal Chowk earlier also and at that time there was a large migration of local shopkeepers, due to which their business had come to a standstill, and they had to suffer huge financial losses.
Nitin Gadkari listened very carefully to Ajayvir Singh Lalpura and immediately called the officials of the concerned department and sought a report. He also fixed a meeting at the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) office in Panchkula.
Ajayvir Singh Lalpura said that he is dedicated to the people of Rupnagar district and he was approached by the local residents, and he immediately arranged a meeting of the delegation with the Minister and the memorandum has been accepted by the Minister. He thanked Nitin Gadkari .
On the occasion Kuljit Singh, Amritpal Singh, Amrinder Singh Bawa MC, Rajan Sharma were present.
