Akash Bansal installed as President Rotary Club Mid Town
Installation Function of Rotary Club Patiala Mid-town was held in Patiala. K. K. Sharma, Chairman P.R.T.C. was the Chief Guest and Rotary District Assistant Governor Rtn. Rekha Mann also graced the occasion. Rtn. Dr. Akash Bansal was installed President of the club.
The board of directors of the club was announced by the President Rtn. Dr. Akash Bansal which included Rtn. Rakesh Singla as secretary, Rtn. Rajiv Goyal as Treasurer, Rtn. Sanjiv Garg as Vice President, Rtn. Dr. Naveen Saronwala as Chairman, Rtn. Shishpal Mittal as sergeant-at-arms besides other members.
The bust of Founder of Rotary International Paul Harris was unveiled by the Chief Guest K. K. Sharma on this occasion. He also praised the projects of the club like Polio Eradication, Adult Education and Tree Plantation. Rtn. Sanjiv Garg who is member of the club and has recently become Information Commissioner Punjab was honoured with a shawl and a bouquet by the President.
The function was largely attended by Presidents, Secretaries, and Office bearers of other clubs like Rotary Clubs, Rajindra Gymkhana Club and Masti Ki Pathshala School.
