Alumnus guided MBA students of GNDU

Guru Nanak Dev University MBA Alumni (1993-1995 batch) currently holding prestigious positions in diversified fields (Entrepreneurs, Professors, HR/Marketing/Finance heads, Lawyers, and the like) interacted with the existing students of University Business School (UBS) department on various contemporary issues in academic and industrial domains. A large number of Faculty, Dean Alumni and other former professors were also present. The objective of this meeting was to strengthen the view point of Vice Chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu who always encourage such meetings of alumnus to guide the new students in order to make them successful in their practical life.

Dr. Jasveen Kaur, Chairperson/Head of the department formally welcomed the old students of the Department.  She said that this chain of alumnus meetings will be continue in future for the benefit of students. She said that all possible efforts will be done to organize special lectures by the successful alumnus of the department.

Start-ups, contemporary business environment issues, and how to maintain work life balance were key topics for discussion. The alumni also highlighted the importance of soft skills and the ways to tackle various challenges of the corporate world. Their guidance inspired the young MBA aspirants to put hardwork, dedication and perseverance for their bright future.

UBS Department felt proud for their visit on the occasion of their 25 years of being passed out students and Dr. Jasveen Kaur, on behalf of the whole department and faculty members thanked the dignitaries for enlightening the students with their rich experiences.
