Amarjeet Singh Tikka assumes charge as Chairman of Punjab Medium Industrial Development Board

Amarjeet Singh Tikka today assumed charge as Chairman of the Punjab Medium Industrial Development Board in the presence of Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Rural Development & Panchyat and Higher Education Minister and Sundar Sham Arora, Industries and Commerce Minister Punjab. His relatives and friend were also present at the occasion.
After assuming the office at Udyog Bhavan, Amarjeet Singh Tikka thanked the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for reposing faith in him and said that he would fulfill all his responsibilities diligently.
Tikka exhorted the youth of Punjab by saying that they should concentrate on setting up their own ventures instead of running after the government jobs. He further added that the state government has been doing relentless efforts for creating investor friendly environment in the state. He said that the Industrial and Trade Development Policy 2017 has been implemented, in which many financial assistance was being provided to the industry. He said that he would make special efforts to strengthen the industrial economy in the state, to establish new industrial units and to rehabilitate the weaker industrial units.
Newly Elected MLA from Phagwara Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman PSIEC Gurpreet Singh Bassi, Chairman, Punjab Large Industrial Development Board, Pawan Diwan and Senior Official of Industries Department were also present on the occasion.
Punjab has three Industrial Development Boards – Large, Medium and Small Scale entrepreneurs – for directly involving the leading players from Industry in the decision making processes of the government and to create the right psychological climate for an industry-friendly future in the state.
