Annual District Credit plan 2018-19 of Bathinda launched

Bathinda-The annual credit plan of district Bathinda for the financial year 2018-19 was launched here prepared by State Bank of India, Lead Bank.

Deputy Commissioner Diprava Lakra and ADC (D) Sakshi Sawhney released the credit plan amounting Rs.10608 cr for financial year 2018-19, which has Rs.459 crore more over the fixed target of previous year. Lakra said that the credit plan aims at taking care of the credit needs of all segments of the society with main emphasis on agriculture sector.

Lajpat Rai Goyal, Lead District Manager welcomed Diprava Lakra and Sakhshi Sawhney and thanked all the participants for their cooperation during the year and achieving targets fixed for district.

While launching the Annual Credit Plan  Diprava Lakhra Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman of District Consultative Committee congratulates all the banks having surpassed the target fixed for sanctioned as well as in distribution of margin money under Pradhan Mantri Employment Guarantee Program (PMEGP) scheme for Financial Year 2017-18 and the district Bathinda ranked no. 1 in state.

Sakshi Sawhney also emphasized to strengthen Self Help Groups in district and advised banks to provide financial assistance to the Self Help Groups on priority basis.

Babandeep Singh PCS District Grievances Officer, HS. Bhatia Zonal Manager Punjab & Sindh Bank,R.P.S. Sandhu Chairman Satluj Gramin Bank, Vikas Mittal DDM NABARD, Jasbir Singh Director SBI RSETI, Rajiv Kumar Tinna Deputy LDM and other senior officers from banks and other Govt. Agencies were present on the occasion.
