Another senior advocate finalized to be new AG Punjab?

As per available information, after the appointment of senior advocate DS Patwalia goes in limbo, another senior advocate Dr. Anmol Rattan Sidhu L.L.B., L.L.M., Ph.D. (Law) is going to be the new advocate general of Punjab.
As per sources, his name has been cleared. The file for issuing the formal appointment orders has been forwarded to the Governor, for his nod.
Anmol Rattan Singh Sidhu, served as Assistant Solicitor General of India, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, President of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, Chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, and Deputy Advocate General, Government of Punjab.
He also served as the Dean, Faculty of Law, Punjab University, Chandigarh. He was awarded the PARMAN PATRA by the Punjab Government in the year 2004 for his contribution to society. This is the highest Award given to a Civilian of the State in recognition of his/her services.
