Anshul brought laurels to Police DAV Public School Patiala

Adding another feather to the cap of Police DAV, Anshul of class 7th brought laurels to the school by winning the scholarship of Rs. 6000 in the philately project making competition organised by the postal department. He was selected for philately project level -2 after clearing philately Quiz level -1 under Deen Dayal “Sparsh Yojana 2019”.
It was a tough competition with the students of various schools of the district. It was indeed a proud moment for the school. Anshul left no stone unturned in making the project. School Principal Meena Thapar applauded his meticulous efforts and shared this elation with the staff members and students in the school assembly.
Meena Thapar congratulated activity incharge Monika Khanna and the concerned teachers for rendering help to Anshul in making this project worth competing . She inspired others also to take part in such type of competitions for the bright future of the school.
Patiala Postal Division organized a District Level Philatelic Exhibition ‘PATIALAPEX2019’’ on 12th& 13th October, 2019 at Harpal Tiwana Centre for performing arts, Nabha Road, Patiala on “Gandhian Theme”. The exhibition was being held in commemoration of 150 Years of the Mahatma.
