Anudeep Durishetty tops UPSC Civil Services exam

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission on Friday evening released the final result of All India Civil Services Exam 2017 on its official website, upsc.gov.in Hyderabad candidate and an already 2013-batch Indian Revenue Services(IRS) officer, posted as Assistant Commissioner with the Customs and Central Excise, Anudeep Durishetty topped the list. Anu Kumari secured the second rank, where as  Sachin Gupta occupied the third spot.

Punjabi Jagran Editor Varinder Walia son Varjeet Walia got 21st rank secured     rank and Punjab DGP Suresh Arora’s daughter got 108 rank in the just declared result.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their result in the official website. The UPSC main exam was held on October 28, 2017. The exam was held to recruit candidates for IAS, IFS, IPS, Central Services (Group A and Group B) and other departments. Total number of available posts are 990. The final result was published after compiling the result of final exams and interviews for personality test. The preliminary exams was held on 18 June 2017.

Anudeep, completed his BTech from BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, in Electronics and Instrumentation in 2011.He was also awarded the best officer trainee in the IRS batch during the weapons training programme at NISA Hyderabad. His interest lies in football and Artificial Intelligence.
