APPEAL: loss of Cochlear Implant Sound Processor at Harwan Garden, Srinagar- Mohammad Hanief

Mohammad Hanief/ Srinagar/ August 8,2025

sound processor of a Cochlear Implant device, vital for the hearing and daily functioning of Mohammad Numaan, a Class 3 student of Legend School of Education, Sadrebal, Srinagar, was lost at Harwan Garden on Thursday.

This device is essential for Mohammad’s day-to-day communication, his school education, and his participation in all other activities. Without it, his ability to hear and engage in normal routines is severely compromised. The sound processor is also very costly, making it difficult for the family to replace.

The family makes a humble and earnest request to the public: If anyone has found or comes across a Cochlear Implant sound processor, please return it at the earliest. A handsome reward will be given as a token of gratitude for its safe return. The device has no use or value to anyone else but is of immense importance to Mohammad’s life and future.
