Appoint technocrates on all top posts of PSPCL and PSTCL;PSEBEA urges Punjab Govt

The PSEB Engineers’ Association welcomes the state government’s decision to advertise the posts of CMD PSPCL and Directors in PSPCL and PSTCL. The Association hopes that the selection process to fill the positions of Director Generation at PSPCL and Director F&C at PSTCL will be completed in time.
Ajay Pal singh Atwal general secretary said that the Association in its letter to chief minister has mentioned the association’s concern about the highly technical position of CMD PSTCL has been vacant for the past 14 years, also the important role of Chief Electrical Inspector remains unfilled.
The association has urged the CM that the power department be directed to expedite the filling of these key positions and appoint technocrates on these positions to ensure the continued efficiency and reliability of the power sector.
It may be mentioned that the Punjab government has invited applications for the post of chairman cum managing director (CMD) , Director Distribution, Director Commercial, Director HR of PSPCL and Director Technical (PSTCL) .
