Appointments Committee of the Cabinet repatriated Nilam Sawhney IAS

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved repatriation of Nilam Sawhney, lAS (AP:84), Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment to her parent cadre on the request of State Government.
The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment to Deepak Khandekar, lAS (MP:85), Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs till appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Nilam Sawhney also remained secretary, Central Vigilance Commission. She is likely to be appointed as the Chief Secretary, Andhra Pradesh.
