Today, Ministry of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions /Department: D/o Personnel & Training has released an updated list of Chief Secretaries of States & Union Territories, as on July 04,2023.
As per the latest list of all Indian States and Union Territories, , Vijay Kumar Janjua, IAS of 1989 batch is the chief secretary of Punjab.
Whereas, Vijay Kumar Janjua has already been superannuated on June 30, 2023 and Anurag Verma, IAS of 1993 batch has taken the charge of chief secretary of Punjab on July 1,2023, itself.
Even, on June 30,2023 Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had hosted a farewell party for the outgoing state Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua, at his office here, in the presence of large number of IAS officers.
