Anmol Bishnoi, alias Bhanu the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is an absconding accused in Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder case, was spotted at a wedding reception in Bakersfield, California, along with Punjabi singers Karan Aujla and Sharry Mann. There is no information about the exact date regarding the viral video, but it is being told that this video is from this Sunday.
As per Indian security agencies a red corner notice of Interpol was already issued but despite that the two videos suggest the gangster is roaming freely in the United States. But, Anmol Bishnoi is visible in the background, standing next to a group of individuals attending a wedding reception in Bakersfield, California.
In September 2022, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had informed in a press briefing that “one suspect each in Kenya and Azerbaijan has been taken into custody. We are in contact with our officials in both countries for further steps.’’ Bagchi did not identify the detained men, who have been named by the Punjab Police as Sachin Thapan, who was held in Azerbaijan, and Anmol Bishnoi, who was held in Kenya.
However, a clarification has been given by Punjabi singer Karan Aujla regarding Anmol Bishnoi’s participation in this program in California. Singer Karan told that he had gone to America on Sunday, April 16, to perform at a wedding ceremony, and he had no idea who was attending the event. Karan further added that he had attended the event only as an artist and he has nothing to do with any person named Anmol Bishnoi seen in the video.

The Punjab Police special investigation team (SIT) probing the Moosewala murder had said earlier that Anmol is a conspirator in the case and had fled India using a fake passport a few months before the murder.
On May 29 last year, six shooters shot Moosewala dead when he along with his cousin and a friend was driving a jeep to Jawaharke village in Mansa, 10 km from his native village of Moosa.
