Asian College of Education organsied seven days NSS camp

On the eve of Martyr day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev; Asian College of Education, Patiala organised a Seven Days N.S.S. Camp in the college campus on 23rd March, 2019. This was followed by an inauguration programme held at the Seminar Room of the College. The programme started with lightening of the lamp. The Chief Guest was Chairman of the Institution Tarsem Saini, Director-cum-Principal Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice Principal Dr. Meenu Singh Sachan and P.S. to Chairman Anju Singh, were welcomed by the Programme Officer Jatinder Singh.
All the dignitaries paid tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh who laid down his life for the independence of the nation. The inaugural speech was delivered by the Chairman of the college. In his speech, he said that the student should follow the revolutionary ideas of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and work for the upliftment of the society. In his speech, Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Principal encouraged the NSS volunteers to do social service.
In the morning session, the cleaning of the campus was done under the guidance of Programme Officer Jatinder Singh. After that the Debate competition was organised in which students shared their views on the martyrdom day of Martyrs’. In the evening session, Assistant Professor Divya Kalra delivered a very informative lecture on “Understanding the Learner”. At the end of the session, an appreciation word was given by Assistant Professor Harpreet Singh. The refreshment Incharge Assistant Professor Anika Khanna arranged the refreshment of all the volunteers. Assistant Professor Kiran Inder Singh, Maninder Singh, Varinder Kaur, Maninder Kaur Bains and Himanshi Gera were also present to grace the occasion.
