Avikesh Gupta takes over as ADC(General) Rupnagar
Bahadurjeet Singh/royalpatiala.in News/ Rupnagar,December 2,2025 Avikesh Gupta, a 2014 batch PCS officer, today took over as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Rupnagar. While taking charge, he said that his priority would be to deliver benefits of government schemes to the common people, working with transparency and making the administrative system more effective.
Avikesh Gupta said that under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia, he will work with full dedication for early redressal of public problems, effective implementation of government schemes and strengthening departmental coordination.
He said that the problems of urban areas of Rupnagar district will be resolved on priority basis and clean drinking water will be provided to the city residents and the problem of sewage in all urban areas will be permanently resolved.
