Awareness Marathon organized by Genius International Public School on Founder’s Day

On the auspicious occasion of Founder’s Day, a grand and inspiring marathon was organized at Genius International Public School.
The event was conducted with the objective of spreading awareness in society and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students. The marathon was successfully held from Rangeelpur to Mianpur, with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and local residents.
On this dignified occasion, Rotary Club President Sudhir Sharma and Vandana graced the event as chief guests. From the school management,. Gunwant Kaur and Bhagwan Singh were also present. In addition, the school Principal, Bhuvana, actively participated in the event and encouraged the students throughout.
The main purpose of this marathon was to raise awareness about the current global situation arising from the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. Due to its impact, there has been a shortage of gas cylinders and petroleum products in the country. In this context, an important message was conveyed—to reduce the unnecessary use of vehicles and adopt habits such as cycling and walking.
Through this initiative, it was also emphasized that by saving fuel, we can improve our health as well. Regular walking and cycling are not only beneficial for the environment but also strengthen our physical and mental well-being.
This marathon proved to be more than just a sports activity; it emerged as a powerful medium of social awareness. It delivered a positive message to students and the community that even small efforts can contribute significantly to the development and preservation of the nation.
