Awareness towards Eve Teasing is need of the hour – Dr R S Parmar
Bahadurjeet Singh/royalpatiala.in News/ Rupnagar, October 16,2025 The Co-Pilots of Rotary Club Rupnagar organized an awareness talk on eve teasing at Gandhi Memorial National Senior Secondary School on October 14, 2025. In this event, President Partner Vandana Sharma first explained about eve teasing & after that a short play was presented by the children of Grammar Guru organization Rupnagar, directed by its Director Supinder Kaur. The play was enjoyed by the students & other present in the event.
The guest speaker of this project Punjab Police Inspector Neha Sood addressed the children and explained many things related to eve teasing and asked the children not to waste their time in such useless things and concentrate on studies.
The chief guest of this function was Dr. R.S. Parmar & Guest of Honor was Dr. Chetan Agarwal.
In their addresses, both of them also gave the message to the children not to indulge in eve teasing and to focus on their studies only.
Principal of school Ravi Bansal appreciated the initiative of Rotary Club Rupnagr & presented the vote of thanks. Dr. RS Parmar and Chetan Agarwal honored Neha Sood and Supinder Kaur and gave certificates to the children who participated in the play.
At this occasion President Sudhir Sharma, Secretary Dr Ankur Wahi, Past Presidents Amar Raj Saini, Dr JK Sharma, President Elect Gagan Saini, Rotarian Ashok Chadha, Neeta Chadha, AG Partner Amisha, Pilot Sneh Lata and other school staff and children were present.
