Baba Farid College organized its 3rd convocation
Bathinda: At campus of Baba Farid Group of Institutions, Baba Farid College organized its 3rd convocation in which pass out students of B.Sc.(Non Medical) , B.Sc.( Computer Science) , B.Sc.(CSM) and B.Sc.(MCM) of Batch 2010-13 & 2013-2016 participated. Prof. (Dr.) J.S. Hundal , Registrar , Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda was the Chief Guest. The ceremony was started after lighting the auspicious lamp at the event by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
Dr. Pardeep Kaura, Dy. Director (Academics) BFGI, welcomed all the guests and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries for sparing valuable time. He said it is proud moment for us to organize BFC’s 3rd annual convocation. He told to the guests about various Achievements of BFC students in Academics, Sports & Cultural. He also told about the unique efforts of BFGI for better future of Students. He gave his good wishes to all students.
According to the rules of University of Patiala, Head of departments presented the able students to receive their degree. 204 students of B.Sc.(Non Medical) , B.Sc.( Computer Science) , B.Sc.(CSM) and B.Sc.(MCM) of Batch 2010-13 & 2013-2016 received their degrees. Prof. (Dr.) J.S. Hundal, Registrar, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, Dr. Pardeep Kaura, Dy. Director (Academics), BFGI, B.D. Sharma Dy. Director (Activities), BFGI, Harpal Singh, Dy.Director (Facility Management), BFGI and Prof.(Dr.) Jaya Ashish Sethi , Principal of Baba Farid College presents the degrees to the students.
Chief Guest of the Convocation, Prof. (Dr.) Jasbir Singh Hundal congratulated BFGI on third successful convocation of Baba Farid College. He said that this is an important day in a student’s life. Dr. Hundal while motivating the students said that it is a Milestone not a destination so they should work towards the betterment of society with sincere efforts and He also told the students to work in research sector. He motivated the students to be good human beings.
