Bangalore University not issuing mark sheets; students at risk of losing a year -Parents

“Bangalore University is not issuing a mark sheet to students who have passed out this year due to technical problems putting hundreds of students at risk of losing a year who are seeking admissions abroad” said a parent
The Universities in Australia have given conditional offers for higher studies and to get the final offer they need actual transcripts of all semesters from Bangalore University. Due to some technical problems , the marks sheets are not being provided. Moreover the university is not providing any information on University letterhead also to facilitate students admission.
Bangalore University has not provided any mark sheet in the last 3 years and in digilocker also only 1st and 2nd semester mark sheets are available. The university has not provided any mark sheets under New Education Policy.
“There are technical issues at UUCMS(Unified University and College Management System) and they have not given go ahead to any University under them to print the mark sheets. They have not provided any timelines for the issue to be resolved and it may take many months” said a parent of a student
This is putting hundreds of students of BU at risk of losing a year who want to go abroad for higher studies.
Meanwhile, Bangalore University authorities could not be contacted on this issue to get their official version.
