Bank of India Patiala branch philanthropy act; distributed dry ration to needy people

Fulfilling its commitment to society and being true to its slogan of Relationship BEYOND BANKING Bank of India, Patiala Branch, Ludhiana Zone under NBG North-1 has today carried out second phase of distribution of dry ration and other necessary items of daily use to needy and mentally retarded 200 people residing at All India Pingla Ashram, Patiala under bank Corporate Social Responsibility.
The ration were donated for the welfare of handicapped, crippled, infirm, orphans and helpless persons of Pingla ashram, Patiala. They tend to cater 200 patients and 50 helpers daily.
Kindly note that this is for the second time in this pandemic, feeling the crunch faced by Pingla Ashram. Bank of India has donated dry Ration and other necessary items worth Rs. 75000/- approx.
Chief Manager Patiala branch R.P Singh told that the decision was taken by NBG North-1 New Delhi, Kuldeep Jindal General Manager, Anjali Bhatnagar DGM, R. C. Sharma Deputy Zonal Manager, considering the problems being faced in the current scenario.
Harish Khurana, PRO, NBG North-1, has been the backbone of the entire activity and played a pivotal role by leading our ways to successfully executing the whole operation in this tough phase.
Gajinder singh AMO, Harshvinder Singh Arora General Secretary Bank of India officers Association and Manoj Kumar was also present on the occasion.
