Banks, insurance companies declares half day holiday for pranpratishtha

Department of Financial Services, ministry of finance has declared half-day closing till 2:30 pm on 22nd January for the pranpratishtha of Ayodhya Ram Temple in all the Public Sector Banks, Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, and Regional Rural Banks.
As per an official communique, all public sector banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and regional rural banks will remain closed. The development came mere hours after a Department of Personnel and Training order announced the closure of central government offices till 02:30 pm on Monday.
Earlier in the day, the Centre announced half-day working for all central government employees. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla at the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple is scheduled for Monday (January 22). The ceremony is set to be performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
