Barnala in top three districts of Punjab for delivering best in encouraging industrial investment and trade

Under stewardship of Deputy Commissioner Barnala Punamdeep Kaur, the district has attained position in top three districts of state for delivering best in encouraging industrial investment and trade.
Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann conferred the award to Deputy Commissioner Barnala Punamdeep Kaur during Punjab Investment Summit being held at Mohali.
State government has implemented single window system to bring in ease for doing business in Punjab. Following this the government has graded districts on the basis of their performances in facilitating industrial investment and trade in respective districts. The ranking has been done on basis of state government approved yardsticks, directions and score awarding from April 2022 to January 2023. Barnala has attained third place in the state.
Deputy Commissioner Punamdeep Kaur congratulated all the officers for this achievement and said that more investors and industrialists should be motivated to invest in Barnala.
