Bathinda Police aware truckers about Drugs ill effects
Bathinda- Under the Mission Tandarust Punjab, Bathinda police held awareness campaign against drugs at Sri Guru Arjan Dev Tata 407 truck union Bathinda. Besides, the truck operators and drivers were also sensitized about traffic rules, need to keep vehicle in non-polluting condition and need to keep environment clean and green. Also the Rampura Phul police held at seminar at SS School village Bhai Rupa wherein participants were told about traffic rules, Shakti app and information about going abroad through government certified travel agents was disseminated.
Meanwhile, the market committee Maur conducted cleaning of subji mandi. Cleaning of drains was done at nagar panchayat Bhai Rupa, Maluka, nagar panchayat Mehraj, Nathana, Kotshamir and nagar panchayat Lehra Mohabbat. The water supply and sanitation division number 3 held water testing camp at village Dyalpura. Water supply and sanitation division number 2 Bathinda held awareness camp at village Phulewala block Phul promoting water management techniques. Also similar camp was held at village Jhanduke block Rampura . Water supply & Sanitation div no 3 Bathinda held camp at Village Jodhpur Pakhar .
Meanwhile team of Punjab Pollution Control Board visited BCL distillery division, Village Machana. It one effluent sample from the outlet of effluent treatment plant and one air emission sample from the stack was collected.
