BBMB organised Blood Donation Camp in memory of its former Chairman

The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) organised Blood Donation camp on 7thNovember, 2025 in memory of Major General B. N. Kumar, former Chairman, at BBMB Rest House, Sector-35, Chandigarh.
The camp was inaugurated by Er. Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, BBMB, who encouraged everyone to take part in this noble act of humanity. He shared that donating blood is one of the greatest ways to serve society and help those in need.
More than 100 officers and employees donated blood with great enthusiasm, showing the spirit of compassion, and selfless service. The event reflected BBMB’s strong commitment to humanitarian and social welfare causes.
During the programme, the valuable contribution and leadership of Major General
B. N. Kumar were remembered.
Along with the blood donation camp, BBMB also celebrated the 150th Commemorative Day of “Vande Mataram.” On this occasion, a mass singing of the national song “Vande Mataram” was held, in which over 100 participants enthusiastically joined, filling the atmosphere with patriotism and pride.
Chairman Er. Manoj Tripathi honoured all blood donors with mementoes and appreciated the BBMB fraternity for their active participation and continued spirit of service and dedication towards the nation
