Bedi assumes charge of Administrator General and Official Trustee of Punjab

The Punjab Government has assigned the additional charge of Administrator General and Official Trustee of Punjab to Maninderjit Singh Bedi with immediate effect.
The Department of Home Affairs and Justice (Judicial 1 Branch) has issued an office order conferring this additional charge through notification.
Bedi, who currently serves as Additional Advocate General of Punjab, assume these new responsibilities while continuing his existing duties.
Advocate Bedi assumed this charge on December 23, 2024.
He thanked AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal & CM Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann for this honor as new responsibility. He assured authority competent about his best practices & services on this new task for the benefit of the state of Punjab.
Maninderjit Singh Bedi belongs to Rampura Phul (Phul Subdivision) of district Bathinda & practicing at Punjab & Haryana High Court. He is the third generation legal practitioner in his family. His great grandfather, grandfather, father and uncle served Punjab as legal practitioner.
