Borges, India Private limited , a subsidiary of world renowned Borges International has recalled ‘Borges White Wine Vinegar’ of 250 ml Glass Bottle lot from the Indian market.
The company has issued a notice in the newspapers and asked the consumers to not to use Borges White Wine Vinegar 250 ml Glass Bottle with Batch/ Lot/ Code number L-30593 having September 2023 as manufacturing date and best before date/ expiry date as August 2028.
As per company “they are withdrawing the product from the e-commerce platforms, modern trade stores, traditional trade outlets, market due to presence of Sulphite, Lead (as Pb) and Copper (as Cu) which are above the maximum limits as prescribed in the Food Safety and Standard Act,2006. “
The company has issued a notice in the newspapers and asked the consumers that “they are advised not to consume the Product as it is Unsafe Food as per the Food Safety Standards Act,2006.
