Beware of fraudster-scammer sent mails by using Punjabi University VC fake email address

Some fraudster has forwarded a one line mail to Punjabi University faculty, staff and others from a fake email id of Punjabi University Vice Chancellor, Prof Arvind.
Fraudster has forwarded the mail by making fake email id of Prof Arvind and wrote “ Hello, If you got this email, email me back as soon as possible. Regards. Dr Arvind, Vice-Chancellor.”
Punjabi University has also issues a clarification on this and requested everyone to not to respond to these types of fake emails, who so ever got these types of mails .
As per the university authorities “ Prof. Arvind, Vice Chancellor is being impersonated from an email address. The impersonating email signs as Prof. Arvind, Vice Chancellor. All of you are advised to check the email address and make sure that you are responding to right email ([email protected]). If you any impersonating email, forward it to.”
